My ongoing obsession with green roofs got another fix today when I noticed that the new Shelby Bottoms nature center has one! Inside they have a cool setup that shows how the whole thing is engineered. Check here for more about this and other nature centers in the Nashville area.
The Shelby Bottoms Greenway is also one of my favorite places to take Noa for walks. There are miles of trails and great views of the train bridge and the Cumberland river. For more check out www.nashville.gov/greenways/.
